You are a Canon 40D, which was after the 5D II since its release, the lustful. My 40D with excellent 24-105L F4 lens Canon has made some great shots, but I need low light and high resolution of the 5D to my photographic work really pop. I do a lot of work recently, portrait and finally decided to spring 5D to get the best picture possible for my clients.

The result: I get by with the quality of the images are burned. It 'hard to take a bad photo withthis camera. Everything comes out looking like a picture from National Geographic and Architectural Digest Magazine! Its great to be finally able to 24mm, the actual end of my 24-105 lens (without using a factor of 1.6 x 40D). Interiors shot with available light without a flash are wonderfully strong and with great saturation and contrast. The preview screen on the back of the camera image is a huge improvement over the 40D, with a higher pixel count and excellent display.

MyConfidence as a photographer came from the possession of the 5D. I'm shooting professionally since the mid-1970s with film cameras (Nikon FE2), then entered the '90s with an Olympus E10 (great in its day 4 megapixels), then the 40D and, finally, a digital camera shots are all gone: the 5D. If you can spare all the money, definitely buy the 5D and at least one of the L-series lenses (24-105L 17-40L F4 F4 and inexpensive to begin with). This is a camera that will be paved byQuality, and you will want more time to pay because of the incredible results of the shooting. I am a night person, but this camera is so good I did get up early to take advantage of the twilight and the morning light – and that's saying something!

I have not explored the video capabilities yet, but I'm not a video type of guy. Most of my work is done for the professional graphic design (brochures, ads leave, magazines, posters, etc.) and 21.1 megapixel plenty of space forCropping and enlargement. Be prepared to seriously read the manual to learn the capabilities of this camera. Canon offers new educational tutorials on their website.

This is a camera that everyone can love, from beginner to professional. The full-frame is, you have to buy lenses for their excellent, but it is a purchase that you will not regret. Get it!

New CMOS sensor
The EOS 5D Mark II’s newly designed full-frame 21.1-megapixel CMOS sensor features ISO sensitivity from 100-6400, expandable to 50, 12,800 and 25,600. Large 6.4µm2 pixels have been redesigned to capture more light and yield a better signal to noise ratio to ensure lower noise images throughout the ISO range. The full frame sensor has the same dimensions as a frame of 35mm film. This means that wide-angle lenses stay wide, without the change in angle of view associated with smaller sensor cameras. A new 3.0-inch VGA resolution LCD provides a wide 170 degree angle-of-view, providing plenty of clarity for accurate focus checks in playback. A new dedicated Live View button switches modes to display a real-time image on the LCD. This allows EOS 5D Mark II photographers to enjoy simplified shooting from awkward angles. Precision focus and metering
A 9-point auto focus system is supported by 6 additional invisible Assist AF points, located inside the spot-metering circle to optimise subject tracking performance in AI SERVO AF mode. For accurate exposure readings in tricky lighting conditions, the spot metering circle covers just 3.5 percent of the frame.

Control
The EOS 5D Mark II’s redesigned menu system includes a new Quick Control screen, for instant access to the most commonly changed settings. A new Creative Auto mode allows photographers to cede control of key settings to the camera, while retaining control over creative variables such background blur, drive mode and image brightness. Custom user settings allow photographers to switch between two completely different camera setups. This is ideal for changing quickly between two different environments, such as switching from working inside a church without flash to outdoors with fill-flash at a wedding.

Optional Accessories
Shooting flexibility is enhanced with a range of new accessories. Shooting capacity can be extended with either the high-capacity 1800mAh lithium-ion Battery Pack LP-E6, or Battery Grip BG-E6.

The WFT-E4 offers external HDD and GPS compatibility along with ability to transmit images direct to computer or FTP server, or operate the camera wirelessly.
